Top 10 movies in 2012

If you ask me, 2012 is by far the best year for hindi movie industry. I dont remember when was the last time so many good movies were released and good in all departments. If you dont have time and want to watch the best of Bollywood, here you go-

10. Kahani

Now I am not a fan of Vidya Balan. There is something wrong with that woman. I cant put my finger on it, but ever since Parineeta, I knew something is messed up with her. That negative bias is also the reason why I might have placed Kahani so low on the list.

The fact that there are multiple loop holes in this movie doesnt help its case. Had it not been everyone around me who enjoyed it, it wouldnt have featured on the list.

I believe a good director is like a good perfume. You know it is there but its presence shouldnt be overpowering. The director misguided the audience quite a few times, something the director of Talaash is also guilty of. But since so many people really like this movie, maybe you should have a look at it.

9. Ferrari ki Sawaari

Simple movies have a special place in my heart. Sharman Joshi shines in the movie as a Parsi father trying to gather money for his son's cricket camp. The movie reminds us of 70s' Amol Palekar movies. Such a feel good movie. If you are down and want to just feel good about life, this is a must watch

8. The Dictator

Now I know I said we are going to talk only about Hindi movies, but I gotta include Sacha Baren Cohen's awesomeness. The movie is sheer genius. Remember Borat, well this is nearly as good, if not better. I think it takes time to understand SBC's genius.

This is my second most watched movie this year (the most watched movie gets to be no.1 on the list).

7. Vicky Donor

Ayushman has arrived and how! That guy has some screen presence. This is what cinema is all about, picking up a different story, telling it differently and making you relate to the characters. Vicky donor does everything so well.

What other movie have you seen the mother and the grandmother of the hero drinking? And how do you still find it acceptable? It subtly justifies Vicky wanting to choose donating sperm as a profession. Anu Kapoor shows why he is a seasoned actor! He's quite a gem, isnt he? And Yami Gautam. That is one cute girl.

This movie has done more for the sales of Suzuki A star than all its ads.

6. English Vinglish

See? What I mean this being a good year for Indian cinema? While Madhuri might have won the battle, it's clear that Sridevi will win the war. Not only is she still very good looking, minus the botox, but she has also gotten better in terms of her acting.

The director's treatment of a simple story, is amazing. Even writing such a story is difficult. I mean how do you make your hero sound like a hero without an anti-hero or a villain? This is a must watch this year.

5. Shala

Again, I take liberties with this list and include a Marathi movie in the countdown. It is probably the best high school romance movie ever made, anywhere in the world.

Remember 'The wonder years'? The sitcom that went on to become a cult classic? If you somehow got the same guys to create a movie, they would probably come with something as good as this movie. Get your copy with subtitles if you have to. But do watch this movie.

4.Paan Singh Tomar

I think this was the first movie I saw this year and thought to myself - "This is march and already we have the best movie of this year!" And guess what? I was wrong!! There are 3 other movies which came out this year which have beaten Paan Singh Tomar! And this gives me so much happiness. At the end of this decade, I think all 4 movies would find a mention in the top 20 movies made in this decade. But I have been proved wrong in March and I would be the happiest guy if even better movies come out in the next 7 years.

A true story. I remember as a kid, watching English movies based on true stories, I wondered why did we have to do the whole song dance routine and why cant we do something this meaningful. Guess what? We can.

Everybody knows how good Irfan is as an actor. And in case someone didnt know, he makes sure they do after this movie.

3. Gangs of Wasseypur 2

Never, in the history of Indian cinema have people been so excited about a sequel.

"When is it releasing?" This is all you had to ask during July to any of your guy friends and they would tell you - August 8. You didnt even have to mention what movie you were talking about. Such was the anticipation of this movie.

So much awesomeness. What characters! Definite. Perpendicular. Tangent. Faisal. Wow. What dialogues. What acting. A hindi movie that you had to watch 2 times to completely understand. Name one other film that made you think so hard to understand. Okay, I know what movie you are going to name. So, name 2 movies. I dont think you can. This is a landmark movie.

Most years it would have topped the chart. But not this year.

2. Barfi

Before this movie I didnt respect Ranvir Kapoor as an actor. I saw 3 of his movies - Ajab prem ki, Anjaana Anjaani and Bachana Ae Hasino, all of them crap. I watched all 3 of them on different flights and finished watching them in like 20 mins. So maybe he wasnt that bad an actor, but the choice of movies was horrible.

Barfi changed that. The director is probably who should get a pat on the back for this. When one actor acts better than the others it is the actor's greatness, but if all actors act better than they have in the past, then it is the director who is behind that.

Sure, some of the scenes might have been copied. There was a time in the late 80s and early 90s when Bollywood would copy everything. Scenes, songs, lyrics etc. In the past, we have gotten rid of some of this natural inclination to copy from the west and started copying from the east. While this movie had scenes from like 50 other movies, let me explain why this movie is placed so high up.

I firmly believe being inspired from art is not a bad thing, only, you should be able to improve the quality of the art. That is how humans have progressed throughout the ages, nothing wrong in that. While watching the movie, as an audience, I didnt feel any of the scenes were forced. They were simple and cute. This is India's official entry to the Oscars. Obviously it's not gonna win. The movie that could have won is the #1 on this list.

1. Gangs of Wasseypur

Take a bow Mr. Kashyap. This is the kinda movie after which you can retire. You have given back more than what you took from the society. This is the movie that my kids are going to watch when they are 20, and marvel at the story telling of our era.

You know how we find the movies made during our parents' time silly? Well this is the movie that I think will save our generation from becoming a laughing stock, coz you know, Dabangg 2, Ishqzadde, the works...

You actually had to draw a family tree to understand this movie fully. Everytime I watch it, I learn something new. I might seem to be over praising the movie, but there might be a day when GOW might acquire the same status that Sholay did.

Not matter what part of the world you are from, this is a movie you HAVE to watch.

I might have not included some of the movies that you think should be included in this list. You are free to include your lists in the comment section.

In 2008, when I was working for Siemens, a friend from college asked me why my blogposts had become so irregular, if I was overworked and that stopped me from blogging? The truth was I wasn’t overworked. In fact I was one of those lucky people who would always take the office bus back home. Everyday. For 8 months that I worked here. So what had changed?

I write only when something bothers me, or I get a chance to think about something which I think is path breaking or something. Yes, go through my past posts, most of them are life altering :P. No, seriously, I would rather not write at all than write substandard stuff. There is something about a 9 to 5 job that I sincerely believe, kills creativity.

I wonder if I should get a job that pays me to only think. I wonder if there are any jobs like that. I wonder if they are even called jobs. Also, would I want to be paid a monthly salary for thinking? I mean, I understand the pressures of a job that needs me to come up with ideas on a regular basis. And I hate deadlines. I like freedom. I would suck at blogging if I had to write a column in a newspaper or something.

But thankfully I don’t get paid for writing this, you don’t get paid to read, but this system works, and beautifully so! :)

When I was young, a couple of times my father took me to buy shirts for me, he usually ended up buying really sober shirts. I am talking shades of grey, navy blue, bottle green and other such pastels. I hated not having a chance to wear sky blues, bright reds, yellows, light greens and other such attractive colours. I wasn’t a fair kid. I was dark and such colours didn’t suit me. Or so I was told. Yes, back then, dark didn’t signify sexy as it does today. I think it was around the 9th standard when I realised how attractive some women found tall, dark boys. I haven’t looked back since. Yes Yes.

Anyway, the point being, somewhere down the line, I became my father. My taste in things became defined by subtle. I remember when a friend of mine took us Sweater shopping (He had a car and he was tired hearing us non-Delhities complain about Delhi ki Sardi… Btw, it’s a serious issue and should not be used to write songs and such). While my friends tried on different sweaters, stylish ones, the ones with brand names on them, the ones with weird punch lines on them, I bought the simplest one available in the store. My friends exclaimed – Dude this is something your father would buy! They didn’t know my father’s taste. What they meant was, my taste in clothes wasn’t in line with a 24 year olds… It was more in line with a 55 year olds’
First I thought it was only clothes, only later I learnt, slowly but surely I was turning into my Dad. It wasn’t such a bad thing. Initially it was the clothes, then came the kind of car I wanted, the kind of friends I wanted to hang out with, then the kind of woman I wanted in my life…

Then I saw it – I had started appreciating CLASS.
CLASS. What is class? And what makes something classy?

I have spent hours thinking on this topic and this is what I have come up with – Class – If you don’t get excited by it the first time you see it, but are interested the right amount, if you don’t get bored by it the thousandth time you see it, but are still interested the right amount, it, my friend, has CLASS…

Yes, there. I know. Genius. You can sit down now. Yes, all of you. Please stop clapping. I don’t deserve it. Okay. Seriously.

I can extend it to anything and everything.

Let’s start with cricketers. Ladies, don’t stop reading you might like the guy I am talking about. The first time we saw Dravid back in 1996-97, we were interested. I was only 10 back then and since we had no cable TV at our place, had no idea of any series played outside India. There was this series being played in England if I remember correctly and Dravid had hit a century. I saw that match late in the night at my cousins’ place. Dravid had become my cousin’s favourite overnight. His exact words were – “dravid ki place pakki ho gayi next 10 saal ke liye.” Yeah, big words coming from a 10 year old. I couldn’t see it. He was good, but good wasn’t enough. My favourite was Mohd. Azaruddin. He was the captain. I figured the best player became the captain.

I am still not a Dravid fan. I think he gets too much attention from the fairer sex which I think is completely unwarranted for the quality of his looks. That makes me like him even less. Yeah, I am jealous like that. Cant help it. The point being even after playing for 15 years and after numerous jokes being written about his slow strike rate (I ll share the jokes below) I still find it interesting to watch him bat. There is something about his demeanour, the calmness, the strength… His strokeplay is flawless. He has CLASS.

Now the jokes –
How to kill a Lion?
Ans. Make him bowl to Rahul Dravid. He will make 1 run in 120 balls, the Lion will die of boredom.

Next one,
Who has the strongest teeth in the Indian team?
Ans. Rahul dravid. Kyonki who bahut ball khata hai.
Hah ha ha…. Lol.. I can go on and on but it doesn’t seem right making fun of someone who I just described as having class.

Movies have class. Just how many times have you guys seen Andaz Apna Apna and not gotten bored. Can you believe it wasn’t successful at the box office? I am sure people might had been interested, just not enough. But today, it’s a cult classic. Chupke Chupke is another favourite. Dharam paaji’s best performance I feel. Paaji toh aise bol raha hoon jaise mere behen unhe rakhi bandhti hai.

Even cars have class. I have always loved Mercedes in all its models, except the estate version. I think the Germans don’t do it justice when they buy the estate version – I mean seriously, it’s like a girl has beautiful legs but chooses to wear long skirts to hide them. (Many more objectifications coming up, feminists, don’t sue me) I cant think of a car that’s more subtle still makes as powerful a statement. I thought my fascination with Mercedes would end after I spend some time in Germany. Almost every third car in Germany was a Mercedes. Even Taxis were Mercedes for crying out loud. That should have ruined the image in my head right? That is what we were taught in our Branding class at MDI, gurgaon.

But it didn’t.

Even at the end of one and a half years, I still found cranking my neck to see a Mercedes drive by. This, after I have ridden in almost all models that Mercedes has to offer. I have been driven around in a C class, an E class, heck, I have also been driven around in a S class. Yeah, most of the last statement is to brag.

The point being, class just holds your imagination. It does something to the brain cells responsible for love and respect. Most advertisers will tell you, that is an awesome combination. So will most politicians and Kings of the yesteryears. (There is no practical way to ask the kings of the yesteryears. Most of them are dead and even if they aren’t they wouldn’t be interested to talk to us common people.)

Class can be attributed to cities too. Delhi enthrals anyone who lands at the T3 at Indira Gandhi Airport. The T3 is probably prettier than Paris Airport. You then take the escalator to the Airport express. The Airport express service in Berlin, London and Paris cant match the beauty of the Delhi Airport express combined (I know because I have used the service in all three cities). Then you take a taxi on the wide roads of Delhi continuously being amazed by the stop signs and the cycle tracks. Only to be disappointed by it’s public bus transport, lack of rules, cycle rickshaws, old Delhi, litter and lack of civic sense among people. Don’t get me wrong. I am one of those few native Mumbaities who really likes delhi. I love it for the freedom it gives me. But you will get bored of it. Very soon.

Mumbai on the other hand will piss off a tourist. What is so great about this city? It’s more than crowded, also dirty because of the exact same reason. The roads are patchy, the trains crowded, don’t get me started on traffic jams, it’s humid all the time and I don’t even get to see Shah Rukh Khan in spite of spending an entire afternoon at Bandstand. But once you spend time in the city, they city grows on you. And you fall in love with it. Very soon. That’s class.

Actresses have class. Well, some of them do.

How many times, exactly how many times must you have seen that black and white Madhubala poster. I remember a girl in our building had that poster in her living room and you could see it if the main door was open. I always sneaked a peek. I used to get a few glares from her father. If only I could tell him that it was the poster and not her daughter who caught my eye. I didn’t. Didn’t wanna hurt his ego.

Sonali Bendre. She has always been a favourite. Even pre-sarfarosh when her movies didn’t work much. Look at her now, she is still beautiful. A little plump, but beautiful. Class.

My boss in my German company was rather flamboyant, high flying executive. He was roughly my father’s age and had quite a few of his qualities. To be honest, I saw a bit of myself in him and I am sure he did too. I was amazed when I first met his wife. I don’t know why, but I had assumed that she would be, well, at least half as flamboyant as he was. She was as plain as they come. Then I thought what if I didn’t know my father, what if I worked in his firm and one day had a chance to meet his wife, my mother. Wouldn’t I be amazed to see how simple she was? I would!

What was going on? How did these flamboyant men end up with such simple wives?

My boss’ wife was lovely. She was simple, her clothes, jewellery, expensive, but only to the trained eye. She was warm and in a room full of people made me feel special. She was warm and welcoming. I could see why my boss, an Australian, fell for her, a German. I could see the similarities in my mother and her. What exactly was happening here?

I was talking to a fan the other day who is now a friend. She asked me if I have a list of qualities I would want in a girl. I do! I think all men like me do. I am sure if my dad, my boss and I had to make a list of qualities, we would end up with almost the same lists. The reason why I didn’t include any of my male friends is that I don’t think any of them has reached the same level of maturity as I have. Burn! No?

There was this German colleague of mine. She was one of the very few women I have certified hot in the first 5 minutes of meeting her. She wore spects and the fact that she was blonde and light eyed and everything helped matters. But once I got to know her, she got boring. The more I got to know her, the more boring she got. I had no idea what had changed. She was complicated, troubled, shallow and demanding. She probably lacked class.

She was the complete opposite of the kinda girl I wanted. I wanted a girl who you would easily miss in a crowd, but remember forever, if you were lucky enough that she would talk to you. She would be selfless, her happiness derived from giving. She would be beautiful, the kind that it makes your day just by looking at her. She would be calm, in the stormiest of storms. She would be caring, when the world doesn’t care. She would be the kind who makes the world a better place and makes this life worth living. She would… she would have class.

And I know there are boys reading this on their computers and wondering if there are any such girls out there and I say, maybe one on each continent. That seems about fair. The definition of class : A study of cars, movies and girlsSocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

Top 10 movies (2000-2008)

Its here!!!!

The BIG DADDY of all polls.. from Aaj tak to IBN 7, this poll beats them all.. er.. kuch jyada toh nahi ho gaya?

But seriously.. after entering the data for your favourite movies, finding the average and then ranking them, I have come up with the TOP 10 hindi movies of this Millennium..

The people who participated in the poll range come from differnt walks of life.. from catwalk to rampwalk, from slumdog to millionaire, from Hrithik Roshan to Harman Baweja..er.. I hope you get the point.

The people who voted for their favourite movies includes Engineers, Phds, dentist, a few MBA blokes, and a few other essesntially jobless people like me (yeah, I have voted too!)

The Methodology (Transparency mangta hai!)
Before we start the listing, lemme tell you how I did it! (no rocket science this!) I took in all your entries and gave them points according to their Ranks.. For eg -
1. XXX (no, not tht kinda movie, this is just an eg)
2. YYY
.
.
10. ZZZ

I gave 1 point to the movie ZZZ, YYY got 9 points, while XXX got 10 points... In the end all the points were added and divided by the number of entries to get the average score.. (Did I bore you guys? Well, I got 98.37 in CAT, wht did u expect? :P) Obviously the max score by any movie will not be more than 10 (considering the same movie tops every list)

So here goes the list.. In countdown fashion...

#10
Rock On!
Year of Release: 2008
Points scored: 2.17

Rock on!!!! Hai yeh waqt ka ishaaara... I havent seen this movie, but the very fact that it has managed to notch the #10 spot just on the dum-khum of its theatre performances alone(I dont think it has been released in a big way on TV) says a lot about the calibre of this movie..

I was pestered a lot by my female friends to watch this movie, but then I argued that it was fun for them to watch a bunch of topless guys jump into the lake and stuff.. All us guys were left with was Prachi Desai (who is she anyway?). But still, its commendable that Rock On has is on the list, even though movies like Jaane Tu.. havent even found a place on the Top 15..

Rock on! Farhan Akhtar makes an appearance on this countdown, definitely not for the last time...

#9
Black
Year of Release: 2005
Points scored: 2.35

Beating Rock On by a very small margin is the artsy movie - B-L-A-C-K.. Power packed performances by Amitabh Bacchan and Rani Mukherjee made this movie appear on the #9 spot.. Sanjay Leela Bhansali went one step ahead of his Khamoshi (Salman khan, Manisha Koirala) stunt and made the female lead- blind, deaf and mute.. It gave enough scope to Rani to showcase her talent..

Back in 1998 when KKHH was released, if anyone said that the girl in the short yellow skirt will do a role like that, I would have thrown my caramel popcorn(what? guys cant like caramel?) at his Goddamn face...

All in all, good movie, and gives a chance to AB to make an appearance..

#8
Hera Pheri
Year of Release: 2000
Points scored: 2.47

Know whats a classic? This is!! Hera Pheri is to school going kids today what Andaz Apna Apna was for our generation.. (Shit that makes me sound old! )

Hera Pheri is truly a classic.. You can watch it again and again and again.. never gets old.. It was a breakthrough movie for all the actors.. Paresh Rawal wouldnt be charging more than what Bobby Deol charges for two movies had it not been for his Baburao Ganpatrao Apte role.. "Uthalele re baba.. aare mujhe nahi, enn dono ko!" he haw haw.. rotfl
It made Akshay Kumar what he is today.. Had it not been for this movie he still wud have been doing his "Churake dil teraaa.. goriya chali..." routine.. after the song there wud be a fight where akki wud show his Bankok-trained-martial-arts-kicks.. After that a rone dhone wala scene then again a song.. and so on and so forth..

This movie made Suniel Shetty what he is today..er.. to be honest, hes the only one who hasnt benefited much from this movie.. but for his acting skills hes still God damn famous..

All in all, for me, one of Indias funniest movies..

#7
Lagaan
Year of Release: 2001
Points scored: 2.76

It hurts.. It hurts to see a movie of such calibre come up so low down the order..

It hurt when it didnt win the Oscars.. If Slumdog millionaire (more on it later) wins an Oscar for best movie, I will sue the firangi judges.. If Slumdog wins an Oscar for best music for Rahman, I say he should get atleast 5 more Oscars for his past work..

Bhuvans team beat the Firangs in an impossible match, but the firangis took revenge and beat them at the end.. (I am mad at them.. that is why I make no sense).

Aamir Khan, Rehman, Ashutosh Gowariker.. all of them make the first appearance on the countdown..

Lagaan... Goosebumps! Whatta movie..!

#6
Swades
Year of Release: 2004
Points scored: 3.06

Surprise! Surprise! And a pleasant one! It was Ashutosh's very next movie after Lagaan and all of us had high hopes.. I guess we were expecting a cricket match at the end of this one too.. Girls didnt wanna see SRK looking like a geek.. Thats the problem with the actor.. Hes always SRK.. that has never been Aamir's problem.. When hes Bhuvan, hes Bhuvan.. But with SRK thrs always that persona that makes him SRK - the star.. that cant be too good for an actor, never is!

Swades is by far the weakest box office performer on this top 10, but the fact that people like it this much to place it on #6 speaks volumes bout this movie..

Btw, there is this scene in the movie where SRK is travelling in the train back to Kaveri umma's place, the train halts at a station.. A kid with a really heavy pot of water is pacing up and down the platform.. Hes selling water at 50 paise per glass, SRK being the NRI drinks bottled water.. but for that kid he makes and exception.. That is pretty much the scene where he becomes truly Indian.. I started respecting Srk the actor after that..

#5
Jab we met
Year of Release: 2007
Points scored: 3.17

Are you kidding me? Comeon now? This is a good movie, but at #5? really?

There is this thing actors have.. When they are involved off screen, the chemistry dies on-screen.. thats what happened with Shahid-Kareena all this while..

Once they broke up, they gave us Jab we met! Its a cute movie, really is, but #5, really?

Chalo aacha hua, issi bahane Shahid and Kareena made an appearance on the Top 10..

#4
Rang De Basanti
Year of Release: 2006
Points scored: 3.35

Ting Ting Tinga Ting.. basanti... Rahman again! Aamir again! Very different from the movies you normally get to see.. I still dont know what I feel for this movie.. I mean I dunno if I support what the movie protrays or not.. But one thingI know for sure, it captured the imagination of the youth...

I distinctly remember to-be doctors took to the streets when reservations were introduced for medicine seats.. I remember how they took the blows the police dealt them.. And when those photos came out in the papers next day, one could see the bravery that these 20 something doctors showed for their rights.. RDB in that sense is a classic..

#3
Chak De India
Year of Release: 2007
Points scored: 4.29

The BIG 3... The reason why I call the top 3 - BIG, is coz of the difference in the scores. Look at #4 and #3.. The difference in the scores is almost 1 point.. That shows these 3 movies are a class apart.. They are on the list of almost everyone who polled..

Chak De! Very similar to the Hollywood movie miracle.. But it had a surreal feel to it.. Among India's best underdog movies.. It made celebrities of the 11 girls who played the roles of hockey players.. SRK with all his newly built muscle-chusle played the coach who was once the captain of the Indian Hockey team..

It had everything to keep us interested..

#2
Taare Zameen Par
Year of Release: 2007
Points scored: 4.47

Again Aamir Khan makes an appearance.. But this film clearly belonged to Darsheel Safary.. The kid clearly needs braces, but can act.. I mean think bout sharing screen time with Aamir.. it gotta be tough yaar..

It made the girls go aawww.. It made the mummies cry.. Hard hearted men, who spent half their lives duping people hurried to the loo to cry there where no one saw them.. And yeah there were a few emotionally dyslexic ones who couldnt get what the big deal bout being dyslexic was!! Abhishek Bacchan was dyslexic.. and he turned out fine..er.. well.. almost.. Cant be sure after the Drona debacle.. How come Drona didnt make it to the list? :P

#1
Dil Chahta Hai
Year of Release: 2001
Points scored: 5.29

The baap of all movies big and small.. Guess what? Aamir again!! Farhan makes a re-entry.. And even Akshaye Khanna gets to be on the list.. I mean who wud have thought that..

The success of this movie is evident from the fact that it is the only movie with an score of over 5 points!! Only 10 % of the total voters didnt have DCH on their lists.. rest all did!

Cult Classic is what is DCH! The weird thing bout Aamir is that out of all the movies he has done after 2000, only Fanna and Mangal Pandey dont feature on the list.. In his defence, he does only one movie per year.. Emran Hashmi has done more movies than Aamir has for crying out loud!!

All in all.. DCH is a movie we will watch with our kids and even they will identify with it (hopefully).

Some interesting facts:
* Sandhya, Harish and Aditi had 7 movies out of the Top 10 on their lists. Sandhya and Harish are among my closest friends! Its weird how similar they are! But the closest among them was Sandhya, around 12 points, its almost as if she knew what the list is gonna be like!!!
Update : Neeraj got 8 movies right.. so that makes him the closest to the final list.. Sorry Sandhya, move over, we have a winner!! (Counting mistake ho gaya tha.. my bad!!)
* Why hasnt Emran Hashmi made the list?
* There were around 40 movie nominations.. Such varied people had participated!
* Why hasnt Emran Hashmi made the list?
*Shweta had the least common list.. Only two of her TOP 10 matched the final Top 10
* A wednesday came in 11th (Thought it deserved a special mention)
* #12 .Sarkar
#13. Lage Raho Munnabhai
# 14. Kal ho na ho
12, 13, and 14 had the same scores (1.47) the ranks were then finally decided based on the number of lists they had found mention on.. sarkar was on 7 lists, lage raho on 5 and kal ho na ho on 4 (Kal ho na ho? sersly? I have too many girls voting :P)
* Why hasnt Emran Hashmi made the list?

Special Thanks :
* To Shruti for reminding me that today is the day that I had to post the Top 10 list. Its 3 am in the morning as I write this..
* To Purnima for that amazingly long and interesting mail explaining why particular movies were on your list and why a few others werent..
* To Everyone who took their time out to vote..
* To Emran Hashmi for..er.. well... you just make us laugh man!!! Dil royee ya Illahi.. tu aaja mere maahi... Top 10 movies (2000-2008)SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend
